Blackjack Is Like A Rollercoaster
Friday, 16. May 2025
Blackjack is a game that somehow reminds me of a crazy ride. It’s a game that starts off slowly, but gradually gains speed. As you slowly build up your profit, you feel like you are getting up to the top of the coaster and then when you least expect it, the bottom falls out.
Blackjack is so incredibly like a rollercoaster the similarities are hair-raising. As with the popular amusement ride, your black jack game will peak and things will appear as though they are going well for a time before it bottoms out yet again. Of course you have to be a gambler that is able to readjust to the ups … downs of the game especially given that the game of black jack is full of them.
If you like the mini coaster, a coaster that does not go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the mad ride is with a much bigger wager, then hop on for the rollercoaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high roller will love the view from the monster rollercoaster because he/she is not mentally processing the drop as they rush head first to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few bettors adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it’s going up, that is all lovely, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to flip and turn, you had better bail out in a hurry.
If you do not, you might not naturally recall how much you enjoyed the good life while your profit was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, an awesome ride and your head in the sky. As you are recounting "what ifs", you won’t always remember how "high up" you went but you will quickly remember that catastrophic fall as clear as day.
